> dijitul media designs brand identity packs for UK businesses from £395 + VAT. A pack includes your logo and its lockups, a colour palette in Pantone, CMYK, RGB and HEX, chosen typefaces, supporting graphics and a short set of brand guidelines, so your website, print, signage and social media all look like the same business.

Price: From £395 + VAT

## Problems this solves

- Your website, van and Facebook page all look like different companies.
- Every new flyer uses a different font because nobody knows which one is correct.
- Staff make their own PowerPoint slides and none of them match.
- Your printer guesses your colours because nobody has ever written them down.
- You've grown, and the logo you made at the start no longer fits the business.
- Suppliers ask for your brand guidelines and you don't have any.

## Key facts

- Brand identity packs start from £395 + VAT, fixed-priced before work begins.
- A pack covers logo, colour palette, typography, supporting graphics and usage rules.
- Colours are defined in Pantone, CMYK, RGB and HEX so print and screen match.
- Fonts are chosen with licensing in mind, including free web-safe alternatives for Word and email.
- Guidelines are supplied as a PDF anyone can follow, from your staff to a sign maker.
- Logo design on its own starts from £150 + VAT if you only need a mark.
- Stationery, signatures and social templates can be added to the pack.

## Logo vs brand identity: what's the difference?

A **logo** is the mark. A **brand identity** is the whole visual kit around it: the colours, the fonts, the graphic style and the rules that stop people using them wrongly. A logo alone tells a printer what to put in the corner. A brand identity tells them what the rest of the page should look like.

You need the fuller pack if more than one person or supplier produces anything for your business. The moment a sign maker, a web developer, a staff member making slides and a printer are all working separately, they need a shared reference, or you get four slightly different versions of you.

At dijitul media, logo design starts from £150 + VAT and a **brand identity pack starts from £395 + VAT**. Both are fixed-priced from your brief before we start.

## What goes into a brand identity pack

### Logo suite

Primary, stacked and icon-only lockups, each in full colour, one colour and reversed, supplied as vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) and raster (PNG) files.

### Colour palette

Usually one or two main colours, a small set of supporting colours and neutrals for text and backgrounds. Each is given as a Pantone reference, CMYK percentages, RGB values and a HEX code. We also check text and background pairs for readable contrast on screen.

### Typography

A headline typeface and a body typeface, with sizes and weights for common uses. Because many brand fonts can't be installed on every laptop or used in email, we also name a system-font fallback such as Arial or Georgia for Word documents and email signatures.

### Graphic elements

Shapes, patterns, icon style or photo treatment, where the brief calls for them, so a poster still looks like you even when the logo is small.

### Guidelines

A concise PDF of the rules. If you need a fuller manual for a larger team, see brand guidelines.

## Fonts and licensing: the bit that catches businesses out

Fonts are software, and most come with a licence. A font that is free for personal use may not be licensed for a logo, a website or an app. Some commercial fonts charge separately for desktop, web and app use.

When we choose typefaces for your identity we tell you where each one comes from and what its licence covers. Where budget matters, we often use high-quality open-licence fonts, such as many of those published through Google Fonts, which can be used in print and on the web without per-seat fees. Either way, you know before sign-off, not when a web developer raises it later.

## Making one identity work across print, screen and signage

A brand identity is tested against the places it will actually live, not just a presentation slide. Before final artwork, dijitul checks:

- **Print:** do the colours hold up in CMYK on uncoated paper, and does the logo read at 85 × 55 mm on a business card?
- **Screen:** does text meet contrast guidance on your website, and does the icon read as a social profile picture?
- **Signage and vehicles:** does the one-colour version cut cleanly in vinyl, and is the logo legible from across a road?
- **Office documents:** does it still look right in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook with fallback fonts?

This is where a brand identity earns its cost. It saves you from paying to fix artwork every time a new supplier gets involved.

## Who a brand identity pack is right for

- **New businesses** that want to start consistent rather than tidy up later.
- **Growing businesses** taking on staff, vans, premises or a new website at the same time.
- **Established firms** whose look has drifted over years of different designers. If that is you, read our rebranding page first, because a refresh may be enough.
- **Businesses with a new name**. Settle the name, and ideally check it against the trade marks register, before designing. Our naming and tone of voice service covers this.

## Adding stationery and templates

Most clients extend the pack straight away into the items they use daily: letterheads and compliment slips, business cards, a matching email signature and social media templates. Grouped together, these are covered on our stationery design page. Business cards or letterhead design starts from £75 + VAT.

Print is not included in design prices, but we can arrange it and quote it with the artwork. To get a fixed price for your identity, get in touch or see all our prices.

## FAQs

### How much does brand identity design cost in the UK?

dijitul media's brand identity packs start from £395 + VAT. That includes the logo suite, colour palette, typography and a short guidelines PDF. The final fixed price depends on your brief, for example how many supporting graphics or example applications you need, and you get the price before work starts.

### What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is the mark itself. A brand identity is the full visual system around it: colour palette, fonts, graphic style and rules for using them. dijitul designs logos from £150 + VAT and complete brand identity packs from £395 + VAT.

### Do I need brand guidelines for a small business?

If anyone other than you produces material for your business, such as a printer, sign maker, web developer or member of staff, then yes, a short set of guidelines saves time and mistakes. dijitul's brand identity pack includes a concise guidelines PDF covering logo use, colours and fonts.

### Can you build a brand identity around my existing logo?

Yes. If your logo still works, dijitul can redraw it as clean vector artwork if needed, then build the colour palette, typography and guidelines around it. That is often cheaper than starting again and keeps the recognition you have already built.

### Will my brand fonts work in Word and Outlook?

Often they won't be installed on every computer, so dijitul names a system-font fallback, such as Arial, Calibri or Georgia, for Word documents, PowerPoint and email signatures. That way staff documents still look consistent even where the main brand font isn't available.

### Is printing included in the brand identity price?

No. Design prices cover the artwork and files. dijitul can arrange printing of business cards, letterheads and other items and will quote it separately, so you can compare it with your own printer if you prefer.
