# Graphic Design & Photography in Huddersfield

> Huddersfield engineers, textile mills and university start-ups can use dijitul for CAD drawings and 3D models at £45 an hour + VAT, logos from £150 + VAT and product catalogues. Design is done remotely from Mansfield. Photography of cloth, machinery and products is shot on location in Huddersfield, with travel added to a fixed quote.

Huddersfield still makes things. Fine worsted cloth is woven in mills around the town, David Brown has made gears here for well over a century, and Cummins builds Holset turbochargers. Chemicals, valves, pumps and specialist machinery firms work along the Colne Valley and Leeds Road. That gives Huddersfield an unusually technical design market.

Engineering firms need technical drawings, exploded assembly views for manuals, 3D models exported as STEP for customers, and spare parts catalogues where every part number matches the drawing. We work at £45 an hour + VAT and supply DWG, DXF, STEP and PDF. When a product needs showing before it exists, photoreal 3D renders are quoted per image.

Textile businesses need a different eye. Cloth is hard to photograph: colour must be accurate, weave texture has to show, and dark navy worsteds can easily look flat black. We shoot swatches and bunches with controlled light and a colour reference, then design swatch books, lookbooks and trade show graphics that suit tailors and buyers.

- Engineering and machinery: CAD, manuals, spare parts catalogues, product renders

- Textile mills: fabric photography, swatch books, heritage brand refreshes

- University spin-outs at the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre: logos, pitch decks, product visuals

- Holmfirth, Marsden and Slaithwaite makers: labels, packaging, product photography

The University of Huddersfield is known for engineering, computing and music, and its 3M Buckley Innovation Centre supports start-ups that usually need a brand starter pack and an investor deck before anything else. The Holme and Colne Valleys add small food, drink and craft businesses. Design is done remotely from Mansfield and shared as PDF proofs; shoots happen on location with travel quoted. ### Can you photograph fabric so the colours look accurate?

Yes. dijitul shoots cloth with controlled lighting and a colour reference card, then corrects images so navy, charcoal and pattern detail look true to the bolt. We shoot on location at your mill. Product images are from £25 + VAT per image, plus quoted travel.

### Can you produce exploded views for an engineering manual?

Yes. We create exploded assembly views from your 3D CAD files or drawings, with balloon numbers that match a parts list, for printed manuals and spare parts catalogues. This is charged at £45 an hour + VAT with an estimate agreed first.

### Do you help university spin-outs with a first brand?

Yes. A brand identity pack from £395 + VAT gives a spin-out a logo, colours, fonts and basic templates, and we can add a pitch deck at £45 an hour + VAT. Everything is designed remotely, so we can work around a busy founder's schedule.
