Retford is a historic market town in Bassetlaw, north Nottinghamshire, and the second largest town in the district after Worksop. It has held a market for centuries, and the Market Square with its town hall is still the heart of the town. Independent shops, cafés and pubs around the square need shopfront signage, A-boards, menus, loyalty cards and social media graphics that give each business a clear identity.

The surrounding area is mainly agricultural, so farms, farm suppliers, agricultural contractors and food businesses make up a large share of local firms.
