> Wakefield food producers, distributors and council suppliers use dijitul for logos from £150 + VAT, label and packaging artwork, brochures from £295 + VAT and report templates. All design is done remotely from Mansfield. We photograph products, sites and teams on location in Wakefield, with half days from £295 + VAT and travel quoted.

Wakefield sits where the M1 meets the M62, and that junction has drawn national distribution centres, parcel carriers and food businesses to Normanton, the Wakefield Europort and the motorway corridor. Food and drink is the district's other big employer. Coca-Cola bottles at Outwood, bakeries, dairies and processors work across Pontefract, Castleford, Featherstone and Knottingley, and Pontefract's liquorice and the Rhubarb Triangle's forced rhubarb give local producers a story worth telling on the pack.

For a food business, packaging and labels do the selling and carry the legal information. We lay out ingredients with allergens emphasised, net quantity, best before and storage panels, and build artwork to your printer's cutter guide with 3 mm bleed. Product photography on white, from £25 + VAT per image, gives retailers and wholesalers the images they ask for.

Wakefield is also West Yorkshire's administrative centre, so many local firms supply councils, police and health bodies. Those suppliers need accessible PDF reports, tender documents and plain-English infographics that make performance data easy to read. Cultural organisations around The Hepworth Wakefield and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park need exhibition graphics, programmes and event photography.

- Food and drink makers: labels, packaging, product photography, trade show stands

- Distribution firms: vehicle livery, warehouse signage, CAD layouts at £45 an hour + VAT

- Public sector suppliers: report templates, bid documents, infographics

- Arts organisations: posters, programmes, event photography

The Five Towns each have their own shops, trades and cafés that mainly need a clear logo, flyers and signage. All design is done remotely from Mansfield and proofs come by email. Shoots are on location in Wakefield and the district, with travel quoted. Neighbouring pages: Leeds and Barnsley.
