A brand that looks like the experience
Clients choose a salon, clinic or studio largely on how it looks before they walk in. Your logo, colours and photos should match the room they will sit in. We design logos from £150 + VAT and full brand identity packs from £395 + VAT, then carry the look onto treatment menus, price lists, window graphics and uniforms.
Small print items matter more than people expect. Gift vouchers, loyalty cards and appointment cards at 85 × 55 mm are charged at £45 an hour + VAT or a fixed quote, and well-designed vouchers sell better at Christmas and Mother's Day than a handwritten card.
Filters, retouching and the ASA
In 2021 the Advertising Standards Authority ruled that filters must not be applied to social media ads for beauty products if they exaggerate the effect the product can achieve, after upholding complaints about two tanning ads. The same principle applies to retouching in your own adverts and posts: if the image is showing a result, it must be a fair representation of that result.
So when we shoot treatment photos or edit before-and-after images, we keep lighting, angle and distance the same between shots, correct only exposure and colour, and do not smooth skin or reshape features in a way that changes the result shown. It is less dramatic, and it keeps you out of trouble.
A simple routine helps. Photograph clients against the same plain wall, at the same distance, with the same lights switched on, and get written consent before any image is used. Brows, lashes, nails and hair results all look more convincing when the before and after shots are obviously taken in the same place, and consistent shots are easier for us to turn into tidy grid layouts and carousel posts.
Aesthetics: promote the consultation, not the medicine
Botulinum toxin products such as Botox are prescription-only medicines, and CAP Code rule 12.12 bans advertising prescription-only medicines to the public. ASA guidance says this covers paid ads and your own social media posts, and that almost any reference to Botox in leaflets, posters or brochures is likely to breach the rule. The advice is to promote the consultation with a qualified practitioner, use balanced and factual information, and avoid before-and-after photos for these treatments.
We design aesthetics clinic materials around that: consultation-led messaging, clear practitioner credentials, and no product names or imagery that would identify a prescription-only medicine. Treatments that are not medicines, such as dermal fillers, still need claims you can back up.
Labels for your own-brand products
Many salons and wellness brands launch their own skincare, candles or oils. Cosmetic labels in Great Britain must list ingredients using INCI names, show the name and address of the UK responsible person on both the container and the outer packaging, and give either a best-before date or, for products with a durability over 30 months, the period-after-opening (open jar) symbol with a number of months. Products must also be notified to the Office for Product Safety and Standards before sale.
We design labels to your container's exact dimensions with room for all of this, plus your batch code area. You or your formulator supply the ingredient list and safety assessment; we make it fit legibly and look like it belongs to your brand.
Social media that books appointments
Most beauty bookings start on Instagram or Facebook. A social media graphics pack from £99 + VAT gives you reusable templates for treatments, offers, availability and reviews. For Instagram we design feed posts at 1080 × 1350 px (4:5) so they can also run as ads, and stories at 1080 × 1920 px with key text inside the safe zone.
Real photos of your space and team outperform stock. We photograph treatments, products and team headshots on location from £295 + VAT for a half day, with travel quoted outside Mansfield and Nottinghamshire.

Frequently asked questions
How much does salon branding cost?
dijitul designs salon logos from £150 + VAT and brand identity packs, with logo, colours, fonts and basic rules, from £395 + VAT. Social media graphics packs start from £99 + VAT, and price lists or vouchers are charged at £45 an hour + VAT. You get a fixed price before we start.
Can I use filters on my beauty adverts?
Not if they exaggerate what the product or treatment can achieve. In 2021 the ASA ruled that such filters make beauty ads misleading. dijitul shoots and edits treatment photos with consistent lighting and angles, correcting only exposure and colour, so results are shown fairly.
Can my clinic advertise Botox on Instagram?
No. Botox is a prescription-only medicine, and CAP Code rule 12.12 bans advertising those to the public, including on your own social media. ASA guidance suggests promoting a consultation with a qualified practitioner instead. dijitul designs aesthetics materials around consultation-led messaging.
What must go on a cosmetic product label in the UK?
Labels must include the ingredient list using INCI names, the name and address of the UK responsible person, and a best-before date or a period-after-opening symbol for products lasting over 30 months. dijitul lays this out to your container size; you supply the ingredient data and safety assessment.
Do you photograph treatments in our salon?
Yes. dijitul photographs treatments, products, interiors and team headshots on location at your salon or clinic. A half day is from £295 + VAT and product shots from £25 + VAT per image. Travel outside the Mansfield and Nottinghamshire area is quoted.
Can you make Instagram templates I can edit myself?
Yes. dijitul's social media graphics pack, from £99 + VAT, can be supplied as editable templates so you can change treatments, prices and dates while keeping fonts, colours and layout consistent with your brand.
