One look, from first announcement to last photo
An event brand has a short life and a lot of touchpoints: save-the-date posts, posters, tickets, wristbands, signage, stage screens and the thank-you post afterwards. We design a simple kit first, a logo or wordmark for the event, colours, type and a key visual, then roll it out so every item looks like it belongs.
Posters and flyers are the backbone. Flyers start from £95 + VAT; posters at A3, A2 or A1 are quoted or charged at £45 an hour + VAT. Keep the hierarchy strict: what it is, when, where, and how to get a ticket. A QR code that goes straight to the ticket page beats a long URL every time.
Ticket prices and the drip pricing ban
Since 6 April 2025, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 has banned drip pricing. The Competition and Markets Authority's price transparency guidance treats mandatory booking and admin fees as part of the total price, so the price you show on posters, social graphics and ticket pages should be the all-in figure, with any breakdown shown underneath if you want.
That changes artwork: a headline ticket price followed by 'plus booking fee' is the wrong way round. We lay out price panels so the total leads, optional extras such as parking or VIP upgrades are clearly optional, and the same figures appear on every item. Your ticketing platform's settings need to match what the artwork says.
Site maps and signage for the event plan
Most councils ask organisers of larger events for an event management plan, and many local guidance documents point organisers to the Purple Guide, the events industry's health and safety guide written by the Events Industry Forum. Signage and site plans usually form part of that pack. We draw clear site maps showing entrances and exits, first aid, toilets, accessible routes, bars, stages and emergency vehicle access, on a scaled base where you have one.
The same map then becomes the public version for your website and programme, and the basis for directional signage. We size sign text for viewing distance and use high contrast so it still works at dusk. Safety content and sign positions are decided by your safety adviser; we make them clear and consistent.
Accessible print and sponsor logos
Programmes, timetables and maps should be readable by everyone. RNIB's Clear Print guidance recommends a minimum of 12 pt, ideally 14 pt, and defines large print as 16 pt or larger, so we set body text accordingly and can produce a large-print version of the programme on request. Avoid text over photos, and never rely on colour alone to show which stage is which.
Sponsors expect their logos to be used properly. We ask each sponsor for their vector logo and brand guidelines, respect their clear space and colour rules, and give you a sponsor wall layout that treats each tier consistently. It is a small detail that keeps sponsors happy for next year. Collect sponsor logos early: chasing a vector file the day before print is one of the most common causes of delays and low-quality signage.
Photography and video on the day
Good event photos sell next year's tickets and keep sponsors on board. We shoot event photography from £295 + VAT for a half day or £495 + VAT for a full day, covering crowds, speakers, performers, sponsor branding and the details. Video starts from £695 + VAT, and we can cut short vertical clips for social media from the same footage.
Travel outside the Mansfield and Nottinghamshire area is added to the quote. Put a notice at entrances saying photography and filming will take place, and agree a way for people to opt out. We do not offer drone filming. For the post-event round-up, social media graphics start from £99 + VAT.

Frequently asked questions
How much does event poster and flyer design cost?
dijitul designs flyers from £95 + VAT. Posters, banners and larger signage are quoted as a fixed price or charged at £45 an hour + VAT, depending on sizes and the number of versions. Printing is quoted separately if you want us to arrange it.
Do ticket prices on posters have to include booking fees?
Mandatory fees should be included. Since April 2025 the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 bans drip pricing, and CMA guidance treats compulsory booking fees as part of the total price. dijitul lays out artwork so the all-in price is the main figure.
Can you draw a site map for our event plan?
Yes. dijitul draws site maps showing entrances, exits, first aid, toilets, accessible routes, stages and emergency access, on a scaled base where available. The same artwork becomes the public map and signage. Your safety adviser decides positions and content; we make it clear and consistent.
How much does event photography cost?
dijitul's event photography starts from £295 + VAT for a half day and £495 + VAT for a full day, shot on location. Event video starts from £695 + VAT. Travel beyond Mansfield and Nottinghamshire is added to the quote.
Can you make a large-print programme?
Yes. dijitul can produce a large-print version of programmes and timetables at 16 pt or larger, in line with RNIB's definition of large print, alongside the standard version set to RNIB Clear Print sizes. Both come from the same artwork so the content always matches.
Do you film events with drones?
No. dijitul does not offer drone photography or filming. We shoot event photography and video from the ground, and can cut short vertical clips for social media from the main footage. Video starts from £695 + VAT.
