Design for West Bromwich businesses
Sandwell's main town is West Bromwich, with Oldbury, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury and Rowley Regis making up the rest of the borough. Nationally it is known for West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, but day to day it runs on manufacturing and distribution. Metal processing, plastics, food production and building products firms fill the estates near junctions 1 and 2 of the M5, and cash and carry operators, trade wholesalers and hauliers serve Birmingham from here.
Many of these are family firms competing on price and speed for bigger customers. Their design needs are practical rather than fashionable:
- A logo and stationery that look professional on a quote, a delivery note and the side of a lorry
- Product data sheets and catalogue pages for plastics and building products, laid out consistently so buyers can compare
- Food and drink labels and outer case artwork for producers supplying wholesalers, with barcodes and allergen text in the right place
- Clear photography of products and premises for trade websites and tender documents
- Menus, price boards and delivery app images for takeaways and restaurants on the high street
The town also has a large and diverse community sector, plus beauty, personal services and independent retail businesses on and around the High Street. These often need a modest brand pack, a set of social media templates and printed flyers rather than a big campaign. Healthcare is a major employer too, with the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital opened in Smethwick in 2024, which brings in suppliers, care agencies and clinics that need tidy leaflets and signage. Many local apprentices come through Sandwell College, and newer firms often start with a single unit and a first logo. We handle all design remotely from Mansfield at fixed prices agreed first. Photography takes place at your unit or shop, with travel added to the quote before we book.

Frequently asked questions
Can you design labels for a food producer in West Bromwich?
Yes. Label and packaging design is quoted per job, or charged at £45 an hour + VAT. dijitul sets the artwork to your printer's label sizes, places allergens in bold within the ingredients list, adds barcodes and weights, and supplies print-ready PDF. You confirm the legal wording before anything is printed.
Do you supply print-ready files for a local Sandwell printer?
We do. Every print job is delivered as a press-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed, crop marks and CMYK colour, plus the editable source files. You can send them to any local printer, or we can arrange printing and quote it separately, since print is not included in design prices.
Do you design for businesses in Oldbury, Tipton and Wednesbury?
Yes. Design is done remotely, so businesses anywhere in Sandwell, including Oldbury, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury and Rowley Regis, work with dijitul the same way. Visits are only needed for photography or filming, and travel is quoted before each one.
