Design for Kidderminster businesses
For two hundred years carpets defined Kidderminster: its mills, its canal and most of its jobs. Brintons remains closely associated with the town, and the Museum of Carpet, set in an old works on the canal, keeps the story alive. Carpet and flooring design still has a presence here, alongside engineering, packaging and building products firms on estates around Hoo Farm and Stourport Road.
Flooring is hard to sell from a screen. Colour, texture and pattern repeat all have to read accurately in a photo and a printed catalogue, which makes this a very specific kind of design work:
- Flat, colour-managed photography of samples and swatches, plus room-set shots that show scale
- Catalogues and pattern books where colourways, widths and specifications are easy to compare
- Sample cards, point of sale and showroom display graphics for retailers
- Product configurator images and trade price lists for made-to-order ranges
As the main town of Wyre Forest, Kidderminster also has a tourism economy. Steam trains on the Severn Valley Railway leave from Kidderminster for Bridgnorth, the West Midland Safari Park lies between the town and Bewdley, and Stourport-on-Severn adds canal basins and riverside hospitality. Attractions, holiday parks, pubs and B&Bs need leaflets, maps, seasonal posters, menus and photography. Kidderminster College and the hospital are major employers, and the town centre has independents that need modest brand packs and social templates. We design everything remotely from Mansfield with fixed prices agreed first. Photography is shot at your mill, showroom or venue, with travel from Mansfield quoted before booking.

Frequently asked questions
Can you photograph carpet and flooring samples accurately?
Yes. dijitul shoots flooring on location from £25 + VAT per image, using even, diffused lighting and a colour reference so pile, texture and colour stay true. We supply colour-corrected images in RGB for the web and CMYK-ready files for printed catalogues and sample cards.
Do you supply print-ready catalogue files for a local printer?
We do. Catalogues are quoted per job, or charged at £45 an hour + VAT. dijitul supplies a press-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed, crop marks and correct colour profile, plus the InDesign package with fonts and images, so any printer in Kidderminster or beyond can produce it.
Do you work with businesses in Bewdley, Stourport and Bromsgrove?
Yes. Design is remote, so firms in Bewdley, Stourport-on-Severn, Bromsgrove, Hagley and Stourbridge work with dijitul exactly as Kidderminster businesses do. Each photography visit is quoted individually with travel from Mansfield included.
