Design for Southport businesses
Southport is an elegant Victorian resort, and its businesses tend to want design that feels classic rather than loud. Lord Street, with its tree-lined boulevard, glass canopies and arcades, is home to independent fashion, gift and homeware shops that need shop branding, carrier bags, gift cards and seasonal window graphics. Product photography for their online shops keeps the in-store look consistent online.
Golf is a big part of the town's identity. Royal Birkdale has hosted The Open, and the coast towards Formby has several famous links courses. Golf clubs, hotels and hospitality businesses need membership brochures, event and tournament graphics, scorecards, signage and corporate hospitality packs. When a major event comes to the coast, demand for printed material, branded signage and event photography rises sharply, so planning early matters.
Southport has a large older population, and care homes, home care agencies, dentists and health practices are significant employers. They need clear, warm, readable design: care home brochures, resident guides, recruitment adverts and signage, with large type and strong contrast for older readers.
- Lord Street retailers: shop branding, packaging, product photography
- Golf clubs and leisure venues: membership brochures, scorecards, event graphics
- Hotels and restaurants: menus, room and food photography
- Care homes and health practices: brochures, resident guides, recruitment
- Estate agents and professional firms: property photography, stationery
Formby, Ainsdale and Birkdale have many consultants and home-based professionals who want a polished small-business brand. All design is done remotely from Mansfield; photography is shot on location in Southport with travel quoted. See also Liverpool and Preston.
