Design for Stevenage businesses
Stevenage was Britain's first post-war new town, designated in 1946, and it has grown into a centre for advanced technology. Satellites are built here by Airbus Defence and Space, MBDA has a major missile systems site, and GSK runs a large research and development campus. Beside GSK, the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst gives labs and offices to young biotech companies, and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult's manufacturing centre has helped make the town a hub for cell and gene therapy.
Design for these sectors has to be accurate and restrained. A brochure for a space supplier or a diagram for a gene therapy start-up is read by specialists who notice mistakes. The work we do for Stevenage firms includes:
- 3D renders and cutaway views of hardware, built from your CAD, for proposals and exhibitions
- Technical illustrations and process diagrams for reports, manuals and investor decks
- Conference posters, roller banners and booth graphics for scientific and defence events
- A first brand identity for biotech spin-outs at the Catalyst, with logo files that work on lab coats and slides alike
- Capability statements and line cards for precision engineers and test houses in the supply chain
Confidentiality matters here, so we work from whatever you are cleared to share and never publish client work without permission. The A1(M) and fast trains to King's Cross and Cambridge keep the town connected, and engineering consultancies and specialist recruiters need professional stationery, proposal templates and headshots. The town centre is being regenerated, while the old town's high street keeps its independent pubs, shops and restaurants, which need menus, signage and social graphics. We design everything remotely from Mansfield. Photography and video are shot on location, within your site rules, with travel quoted before booking.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work from CAD files we are only allowed to share in part?
Yes. dijitul can render or illustrate from simplified or partial models, reduced STEP exports or approved drawings, at £45 an hour + VAT. We only use what you are cleared to share, keep files off public tools, and sign a non-disclosure agreement if your contract requires one.
Do you design scientific conference posters for Stevenage biotech firms?
We do. Each poster is priced as a fixed job or at our £45 an hour + VAT design rate. dijitul lays out A0 or A1 posters with a clear reading path, legible figures and accurate colour, and supplies print-ready PDF plus a smaller version for sharing by email or online.
Do you also work with firms in Hitchin, Letchworth and Welwyn?
Yes. Our design work is all remote, so businesses in Hitchin, Baldock, Knebworth, Letchworth Garden City and Welwyn Garden City work with dijitul just as Stevenage firms do. Any site visit for photography is priced with travel listed before booking.
