Design for Slough businesses
Slough is a bigger business location than its size suggests. The Slough Trading Estate, owned by SEGRO, is one of Europe's largest industrial estates under single ownership and has housed manufacturers, food producers and distributors since the 1920s. Reckitt has its head office in the town, and Mars has a long history of confectionery manufacturing here. Consumer goods and food businesses in that supply chain need packaging artwork, case labels, point-of-sale material and product photography that matches retailer specifications.
In recent years the Trading Estate has also become one of Europe's biggest clusters of data centres. That brings electrical, mechanical and facilities contractors who need design of a different kind: capability statements, tender documents, method statement templates, site signage and safety posters. Their CAD needs can include floor plans, schematic layouts and DWG clean-ups. See our design for manufacturers page for the industrial side of what we do.
Slough has one of the most diverse populations in the UK, and its high streets reflect it: grocers, restaurants, wholesalers, pharmacies, accountants, driving schools and travel agents, many of them family-run. These businesses usually want a clear logo, shopfront signage, leaflets and social graphics that work in more than one language.
The town centre is being redeveloped, and the Elizabeth line, the M4 and nearby Heathrow keep Slough attractive to international firms and logistics operators.
